All our clinics are intimate, experiential events, designed to give you and your horse the optimum environment to grow and learn.

Mountain Trail Clinics

Mountain TrailMountain Trail is a growing sport in Australia, offering an exciting and challenging experience for horses and their human partners.

Mountain Trail is designed with various obstacles that mimic natural elements and man made obstacles that horses might encounter on a trail ride. This creates a realistic and engaging environment, providing a wonderful, safe way to introduce horses to these obstacles.

It is also a fun way to build trust and handling skills between horse and rider. Even serious competitors in other disciplines can benefit from Mountain Trail, as it offers a refreshing break from the monotony of constant arena work. Unlike many disciplines, every breed of equine, from 6 months and older, can participate in Mountain Trail. It is also suitable for all riders—from Olympic competitors to beginners, and from youth riders to adults of all ages. Participants can use almost any type of equipment from any discipline, whether English, Western, or anything in between, and can choose to show either in hand or in the saddle.

We built our course as a super fun way to build connection through curiosity, compassion and connection.

Mountain Trail Clinics are held throughout the year.  Places strictly limited to 7 participants.

Wild Roots 2 Day Clinics

It doesn’t matter what stage of the journey you and your horse are at.

We’ll meet you there.

On the ground, riding, starting out together or long time partners.

This clinic provides opportunities to deepen your connection with your horse through core groundwork exercises that can be developed and refined over time at home, and are applicable to ridden work.  Then, if you are ready, we lead you into ridden work, and if not, we advance your groundwork repertoire and skillset.

What sets Wild Horsemanship clinics apart is the continuous presence of your coach throughout the entire clinic.  Expect a combination of practical exercises with your horse as well as rider centred yoga during the day, with theory and meaningful discussions at night.

Wild Roots Clinics are $450 including camping and horse accommodation for the Saturday night.

Wild Horse Clinics occur throughout the year, places strictly limited to 7 participants, book your place now
